It’s been a long time since our last update. Sorry. We’ve been a little overwhelmed with everything going on.

Since our last update Ben has installed all of the basement drywall. What a difference. Dan, our new superstar taper and mudder is making quick progress down there.

I gotta say…it’s tough doing a basement renovation when you have as much “stuff” as we do. All sorts of baby things (in case we decide to have a third), sports equipment, gardening stuff (since we don’t have a garage), off-season clothes, books (since we haven’t had a bookshelf until now), etc…etc…

Harold is beginning to make progress with the new basement shower and the laundry room floor. We’re hopeful that he can have both complete by end of day Monday or Tuesday in order to move to the demolition of the second floor washroom. We can’t do that until we have a functioning shower […]

Ben has begun to frame in the basement. We’re focusing on the bathroom down there so we can move onto the upstairs bathroom once we have a place to shower! After all the bathroom upstairs was the big priority in this renovation phase.
