Our favorite painter Jim (or Jim-bo as the kids like to call him) is back. Since he’s been at our place he has done work for my parents and my sister to solid reviews. (You contact him at 416-951-4446)
We’re finally tackling the porch and the third floor decorative shingles both of which desperately need some sanding and a new coat of paint. In addition we are going with a jet black front door. The paint colours we are going with are a light and dark taupe.
Today Jim focused on all of the prep work that needed to be done. Already things are looking better.
I’ll continue to upload images as he makes progress.

This is pretty. But I’m a little baffled why you’d plant a tree where you removed the shrub. Eventually don’t you think the roots could hurt the foundation and at the very least block off your beautiful entrance. I’d go with flowers and things that show off the railing, not hide it.

Great looking reno I have just done one on a big house. The paint and repair cost me about six thousand. Not a lot but the work I did my self and flooring and carpet went well. But for doing a small row house like this it turned out great I think.

Well done renovation to front of house. Looks very good. Can you tell me what brand & color you used on the final painted finish of the steps?
