We’ve spent a lot of time this summer building out the back deck. It’s been a big job and we have been lucky to have lots of support from our friends - especially Ben.
Anke has always wanted to add a lower section so we said why not? It made a lot of sense given that we had the space and it allows us to put our kids’ sandbox etc… on it. It also really finishes off the deck in a nice way.
I only have a couple of things to finish so I thought it was time to show some photos of what it is looking like. We’ve decided to wait until the spring to add plants to the planter.

Wow. Looks fantastic. Congrats. Hopefully there will be a few more nice days for you guys to enjoy it.

Thanks for your kind comment Kevin. We’re quite happy with it and used it a lot along the way which worked out well. Adding plants in the spring will bring a nice finishing touch to it all.

Gosh I absolutely LOVE it. The lower level was a fabulous idea! You’re right - It really does finish it off. Nice job!
