Well the wood finally arrived and we’ve now made some progress on the back deck.
Here are some photos of the new side walls that we constructed tonight. We played a lot with the spacing of the upper boards to make sure that we had enough privacy yet left enough room for the leaves and vines to come through for a nice hit of greenery.
Tomorrow is a big day as we hope to get a lot of the remaining tasks completed.

I love what you did with your deck! I am wondering what grade of cedar did you use and did you put anything ie: stain or waterproofing on it? Good luck with everything!

Your wood problem should have been solved by asking others about their service. Try someone like Mar-Lyn Lumber. They seem to get most anything for us in the film industry. Quick and no fuss. Fair prices as well. New Canadian’s lumber is another place.
