Another good day of work on the back deck. We finished cladding the planter in cedar and began work on the lower walls that run beside the stairs.
We have one more full day of work at least. Here are a couple of photos:

The cladding on the planter looks amazing! Well worth the wait for the cedar. It looks so sharp. Inspiration for my future landscaping projects…..

Thanks Sarah. We can’t wait to have it done so that we can start hanging out back there. Currently there is debris all over the deck because we’re bricking up (partially) the old back door on the second floor to make room for the new window that will be installed.
