Before you think we’re slobs let me explain the junk pile.
I had to remove the back addition in the dead of winter. Because we’ve had so much snow this year it was impossible to remove all of the junk (and there is a lot) since the side of our house and the front yard was covered in snow. So I’ve been waiting for the thaw to happen so that we can get it out of there and make our neighbors happy I’m sure.
So I’m getting another bin delivered from J Romano Disposal Services Inc (no website only phone 905-669-2323) on Friday. Therefore this weekend will be the big clean-up. Fun, fun.
The $350 plus GST for the bin seems to hurt a little more this time then at the beginning of the reno when we didn’t know we were going so far over budget
Here’s what the backyard looks like now:

Oh I feel your pain. We, too, have a backyard of junk and are removing it this Saturday. Then I finally get to rake all those leaves out that have been lying there since we moved in last fall, right before the first snowfall.
Then the remainder of the weekend will be spent cleaning all the drywall and wood dust that is covering everything. Oh happy days.

Happy days indeed. Luckily my dad and good friend are coming over to help so at least it’s a nice social occasion.
Good luck with your project!
