Spencer came by yesterday to finish some of the deficiencies. One of the tasks we were most looking forward to was for him to install the KitchenAid range hood. We were anxious to see what it would look like in the space.
Here it is:
We really like how it looks. At first glance we thought it might be too high but after doing some research we found that it was meant to be 30 inches above the stove. Spencer had installed it at 30.5 inches because it sat in the right place on the vent so we definitely weren’t going to fight about the 1/2 inch!

It looks great. High ceiling with entended cabinet. Mono tone with stainless steel applianence. Very simple and clean looking. I just would like to know what material you used for back splash. Tile or marble?

All of our appliances are Kitchenaid Architect Series and we love them. The rangehood has 4 settings that you can work with instead of the usual hi/low. The lighting on it is also fantastic.

Hi there! Aren’t those Kitchenaid Architect Series hoods expensive?? I have a friend who bought Spagna Vetro 168 or 218 series (I don’t remember) hood from Vancouver’s representative KitchenHoods .ca and they are very happy with the product. They said its quiet and very good priced. Probably I will buy from them too. Regards!

Great Job Guys! The install looks awesome! I agree with Andy T that the marble looks awesome with the stainless steel appliances. Very sleek and modern.
