The boys from Dennis Windows and Doors arrived at around 7:30 a.m. with a trailer load full of new windows. They quickly got to work ripping out the old windows and installing the new Gentek models. Here’s a photo of them taking out the old living room windows (good thing it’s not minus 27 degrees out as it has been lately):
And here are the new ones in the dining room:
For us the most anticipated element was the installation of the rear french doors plus transom. Here is a photo of the new back wall of the house. Behold we have light!
We love how they’ve transformed the space- especially on the 2nd floor where the rooms are still the original plaster. The element of newness really updates and improves the look of each room. The guys had hoped to get it all done in one day but after a few set backs have to come back to install the 3rd floor windows… as well as new windows in the laundry room and bathroom. I ventured upstairs to discover that they’d already popped out the laundry room window and had started on the bathroom… 2 windows that we didn’t have replacements for because we were going to tackle those when we renovated those rooms. Oopsie.

The new windows and doors always give to home a complete look and add the beauty to the house. The installed french doors add unique style to this home, liked the post. Thank you
