Looking great guys. Did you break into my house and steal my cabinets. We did the same with the white wall cabinets and dark island. We’re so happy with it. I’ll send you some pics sometime.

Hi there. Happened upon your blog when I was searching for tile stores online. You must be thrilled about your kitchen! I’ve also chosen cream cabs/dark island. This forum was incredibly helpful while planning my kitchen: http://ths.gardenweb.com/forums/kitchbath/ Good luck! Mira

Thanks Mira- we’re very happy with the kitchen so far. All of the cupboard doors went up today and it’s looking good. We’re still up in the air re: our countertop. Not sure whether to go with Caesarstone or carrera marble (my personal favourite). What did you choose?

Sharon- we’d love to see your pics! Clearly you have great taste. :) Which countertops did you decide to go with? We’re still debating…

Hi Anke - sigh - what I really wanted was soapstone for my creamy cabs and carrera marble for the island. But I don’t want to oil every month/I’m not a baker/and I’ve just splurged on vintage bathroom fixtures…so I am looking at granite now. Probably antique brown for the perimeter. I’m hoping there is a creamy granite out there with little movement than can mimic the look of marble… PS -I have just spent this last hour researching banquettes online.

I have become TKO’d (totally kitchen obsessed). M
