Update on the first floor beam and framing

Here are some photos that we took of the first floor today. Just looks like alot of 2 x 4’s I know, but alot of progress has actually been made! They’ve framed in most of the outer walls as well as our front hall closet and powder room so things are really starting to take shape.

Here’s the large beam that has gone in to allow us to take down the walls (you can also see the one post in the middle of the room which we are going to expand to allow for artwork):
