Land Survey

December 12th, 2007 · No Comments

As mentioned previously, we had to have a survey on our property done because we’re installing french doors at the back of the house. You need to have a proper survey for any type of job that is considered to be an architectural change of the structure of the home.

Unfortunately the City didn’t already have one on file so we had to have a new one done. Our Contractors recommended going through David Horwood Limited and it cost $1000 + gst for them to come out and do a boundary survey as well as prepare the plans and prints.
