New hardwood on the second level

We finally got some immediate gratification today! Capital Floor came in to start re-finishing the hardwood floor on the second level. They made great progress. They completed the sanding, replaced some of the wood in a couple areas where it was damaged, and put on the first coat of stain.

Our hardwood floors

We were a little concerned about the timing of getting our hardwood floors on the second floor refinished. Our contractor’s floor guy wasn’t available until Nov. 26th… and we need to move in on the 29th.
