Progress Report: Second and third floor reno

November 27th, 2007 · No Comments

Meanwhile on the second and third floor we are preparing for our move-in date that is only 2 days away(!) I’m very hopeful that it will all come together… the walls of every room will be painted today, the carpet goes in tomorrow, appliances arrive tomorrow, electrician goes in to finish up on thursday morning, cable guy comes in thursday to do his thing, movers start moving at 9am sharp! Did I mention that mass amounts of cleaning need to be done as well? I’m tackling the kitchen tomorrow which will no doubt take several hours. Darren will then come in on Friday afternoon to finish painting the second and third floor halls while we escape the fumes and go to the cottage.

Here is the second floor family room with all of its ceiling and trim painted. :

Here is the second floor bedroom ( we will temporarily use it as our bedroom. We’re locating the kids on the 3rd floor for now, furthest away from the construction going on):
