Here are a few pictures of what things looked like at end of day today! We had 9 friends and family members help out in the fun of tearing everything out. Within 7 hours the majority of the main floor was stripped down to the studs and the backyard was cleared of debris. We filled 2 14 yard garbage bins.

Studs were left up for support as well as for our contractor to assess things. Next we’ll need to determine how we will proceed structurally with posts and beams… and how much it will cost!
