It’s getting down to crunch time- we take posession of the house this Thursday and start the mass demolition of the main floor on Saturday still without a clear idea of what things are going to cost. Costing has been delayed because our contractor hit a snag getting our plans to their engineer to put together our formal drawings. Long story short, the measurements were lost after our last walk through and they needed to get back into the house (no easy feat with that tenant!) to take them again.

We’ve been able to “ballpark” things so far but Spencer needs the drawings from the engineer to give a true estimate as to how much it will cost for the type of support beam we’ll need etc. We hope to have these by this Wednesday. On a positive note, he’ll be dropping off our quote for new windows and doors today!
