So we decided on the new appliances. We went with all stainless steel and all KitchenAid appliances. We splurged on the range and the refrigerator since we feel these two appliances in particular create focal points in the kitchen.
We bought them from Sastri at Sears since he discounted them by about 20%. Above that we also received mail in rebates from KitchenAid worth about $1,000. Further there was no PST on the fridge and the dishwasher since they are Energy Star appliances.

We went to the Sears at the Eaton Centre. Ask for Sastri. He is very nice and does all sorts of competitive pricing research to ensure you get the best deal.
