Kirk and I negotiated two walk throughs of the house before we take possession. We wanted to get into our new space as soon as possible because a) having seen it so briefly we desperately wanted another look! and b) to take our contractors through to have a look at the state of things/ take measurements to put together our initial set of drawings. In order to obtain a building permit drawings need to be submitted to the city. My first reaction at seeing the space again was “wow” this is a lot of space to work with and “wow” my initial floor plan drawing is definitely not executable based on where current windows are located etc. We were going to have to re-work things. Here is a look at the revised floor plan (as you can see I went out and bought some graph paper for better accuracy!).

Here are some pictures of the interior of the house. As you can see by how dark they are we have alot of work to do to brighten and lighten the place up.
